County of Lavaca To the district justice of Lavaca County.
---- respectfully shows the following property as an
inventory of all the community property owned and purchased
at the time of the death of his wife Thursy Arnold, to wit,
- 200 acres of land lying in
- Lavaca Co. on the waters
- of Rockey value $1000.00
- 200 head of cattle 1400.00
- 9 head of horses 270.00
- 75 head of hogs 100.00
The above being all the property and the land is
particularly known as in hand in a deed from B. K. Pain to
J. B. Arnold dated July 10 1849 except (seventy acres) -
also in hand in a deed from William Smothers to said Arnold
bearing date 28 Jan 1852. both of the said deeds are present
in the clerks office of the county court of Lavaca County

We the appointed appraisers Cornelius Simpson, M. B. Bennett
& R. L. Elkins appointed at the Jan term 1860 the
probate court of Lavaca County to appraise the community
property shown us by J. B. Arnold or the community property
owned by him & wife at the death of the wife of the said
Arnold, to wit
- 200 acres of land lying in Lavaca Co.
- on the waters of Rocky Creek appraised by us at $1500.00
-- 200 head of cattle appraised by us at 1400.00
- 9 head of horses appraised by us at 270.00
- 75 head of hogs appraised by us at 100.00

We the above named appraisers after being duly sworn report
the above as a true appraisement of the above property shown
us being sworn are bound this the 31st day of January 1860
