Susan’s Baked Beans


1 lb. ground beef
3/4 lb. bacon (cut in small pieces)
1 cup chopped onion
2 cans(1 lb. 15 oz.) pork & beans
1 can (1 lb.) kidney beans (drained)
1 cup catsup
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp. Liquid Smoke
2 Tbsp. white vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper

Brown beef and onions in skillet; drain fat off and then put into crock pot. Brown bacon & drain fat. Add bacon and remaining ingredients to crock pot. Stir together well. Cover and cook on low for 4-9 hours. Serve with cornbread.
